Numbra Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 21, 2026

Numbra: Color by Number is a paint-by-number coloring app for iPhone and iPad. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no server of our own, and no analytics of our own. Your pictures and progress are saved on your device, and the app works fully offline. The free version shows advertising, which is the one part of the app that involves third parties, and you can remove it with a single one-time purchase. This page explains exactly what that means for your data.

1. Who we are

Numbra is developed and published by Sueños Digitales, an independent mobile app development studio. We are the “data controller” for the app, which means we are responsible for how it handles your data.

You can reach us at support@suenos-digitales.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the Numbra app (bundle identifier com.sd.numbra) distributed through the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad. It does not cover this website, which has its own privacy policy, or the App Store itself, which is run by Apple under its own terms.

3. The short version

  • We do not collect personal information. There is no account, no email address, no name, and no location. Numbra never asks you for any of these.
  • Your pictures stay on your device. Coloring progress, finished pictures, the daily picture and your settings are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. We run no server and receive nothing from the app.
  • It works offline. Every picture is either bundled with the app or generated on your device. The only network connection the app makes is for advertising.
  • Ads are the only third-party data use. The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners. Those networks receive technical device data and, only if you allow it, your advertising identifier.
  • You control it. Deny tracking when asked, change your answer at any time in iOS Settings, or remove ads permanently with a one-time purchase.

4. Data stored on your device

To work as a coloring app, Numbra keeps a small amount of data in the app’s private storage on your device:

  • the pictures you have started, with every region you have filled, so you can resume where you left off;
  • pictures you have completed, and the daily picture generated for you;
  • your settings, such as sound, haptics, Apple Pencil options and display preferences;
  • simple local counters the app uses to pace itself, such as how many pictures you have completed and when an ad was last shown;
  • whether you have purchased the “Remove Ads” upgrade;
  • whether you have already been asked about ad tracking and consent, so we do not ask again.

None of this is sent to us. We run no server for Numbra and receive no usage data from it. If you choose to save or share a finished picture, it goes only where you send it, using the standard iOS share sheet. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.

5. Advertising

The free version of Numbra is supported by advertising: a banner, an occasional interstitial between pictures, an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch, and an ad when the app is reopened. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob, which may in turn hand a given ad request to one of the mediation partners listed in section 7. We do not choose which ad you see and we do not see who you are.

To request and display an ad, the Google Mobile Ads software built into the app sends the ad network technical information about your device, which may include:

  • your IP address, from which a coarse location (such as country or city) can be inferred;
  • device type, iOS version, language, screen size and time zone;
  • an app identifier and the version of Numbra you are running;
  • ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped;
  • your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), only where you have allowed it (see section 6);
  • crash and performance diagnostics generated by the advertising software.

Ad networks use this data to serve ads, to measure how they perform, to detect fraud, and, where you have consented, to show ads that are more relevant to you. If you do not consent, you still see ads, but they are not personalised based on a cross-app profile.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app shows a consent form provided by Google before any personalised ad is requested. You can change that choice at any time from the app’s Settings screen.

6. App Tracking Transparency

Numbra asks for permission before it will allow any ad network to access your advertising identifier or link data about you across other companies’ apps and websites. This is Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. We never show it at launch: you are asked once, after you have completed your second picture, with a short explanation from the app first, so you can decide with the app in front of you.

If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the advertising identifier is not shared, and ads are limited to non-personalised, contextual ones. The app works exactly the same either way. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

7. Our advertising partners

Ads in Numbra are served through Google AdMob. AdMob uses “mediation”, which means an individual ad may be filled by one of the following partner networks. Each is an independent company that processes the data described in section 5 under its own privacy policy:

  • Google AdMob (Google LLC) — see also how Google uses data from AdMob apps
  • AppLovin
  • InMobi
  • ironSource (Unity)
  • Liftoff (Vungle)
  • Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms)
  • Moloco
  • Pangle
  • Unity Ads

The list may change over time as networks are added or removed; we will keep this page current. Ad networks may also use the data they receive to attribute app installs to the ads that led to them. On iOS this uses Apple’s privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork system, which does not identify you.

8. Removing ads (in-app purchase)

Numbra offers a single one-time, non-consumable purchase, “Remove Ads”. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, your name, or your billing address; the app receives only a signed receipt from Apple telling it that the purchase is valid so it can stop showing ads.

Once ads are removed, the advertising software in the app is no longer asked to load ads, and the data flows described in sections 5 to 7 stop. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any of your devices from the app’s Settings screen. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; if a purchase is refunded, ads return.

9. What the App Store privacy label means

Numbra’s App Store listing carries a privacy “nutrition label”, and the app ships a privacy manifest that declares the same things. Every entry on that label exists because the Google Mobile Ads software is part of the app; Numbra itself collects none of it. For clarity, this is the complete list:

Data typeLinked to youUsed for trackingPurpose
Device ID (advertising identifier)YesYes, only if you allow itThird-party advertising
Product interaction (ad views and taps)YesYes, only if you allow itThird-party advertising, advertising analytics
Crash dataNoNoApp functionality (ad software diagnostics)
Performance dataNoNoApp functionality (ad software diagnostics)

“Used for tracking” means the data may be linked with data from other companies’ apps and websites for advertising purposes. On iOS that only happens after you have allowed it in the App Tracking Transparency prompt described in section 6. The app does not collect location, contacts, health data, purchase history, photos, browsing history, or any other category.

10. Platform services

Apple provides certain services around every app it distributes, such as download statistics, crash reports, and purchase processing. Those services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Any crash or usage statistics we can see there are aggregated and anonymous, and only if you have opted in to sharing them with developers in your device settings.

11. What we don’t do

In Numbra we do not:

  • ask for or store your name, email address, phone number or contacts;
  • access your location, camera, microphone, or files;
  • read your photo library — a finished picture is only written out if you choose to save or share it;
  • create accounts or profiles;
  • run our own analytics or tracking software, or operate any server the app talks to;
  • upload your pictures or progress anywhere;
  • send push notifications that require any data about you;
  • sell your personal data — to anyone, ever.

12. How long data is kept

Data stored on your device stays there until you delete the app or clear its data. Because we run no server for Numbra, we hold no copy of it.

Data received by advertising partners is kept under their own retention rules, which are described in their policies linked in section 7. Google, for example, publishes its retention periods in its privacy policy.

13. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR (Europe), the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA (California) and others give you rights over your personal data: to know what is processed, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Because Numbra itself holds no personal data about you, the practical ways to exercise those rights are:

  • Withdraw consent to personalised ads from the app’s Settings screen (where a consent form applies), or by denying tracking in iOS Settings (section 6).
  • Reset your advertising identifier in your device settings, which breaks the link between you and any profile an ad network has built.
  • Remove ads entirely with the one-time purchase, which stops all third-party ad data flows.
  • Delete the app, which deletes everything Numbra stored on your device.
  • Contact an ad partner directly using the links in section 7 to exercise rights over data they hold.

We do not sell personal information and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the CCPA sense except to the extent that the ad networks described above receive device data when you have allowed personalised ads. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.

For any privacy question or request, email support@suenos-digitales.com and we will respond.

14. Children

Numbra is a general-audience coloring app rated 4+ on the App Store, but it is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and is not marketed to them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the app collects no personal data itself, the only relevant processing is by ad networks, and we configure ad requests so that personalised advertising is not requested where the user is known to be a child. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data through an ad partner, contact us and we will help you address it with that partner.

15. Security

Your pictures and settings are kept in the app’s private, sandboxed storage on your device, protected by your device’s own security. All network traffic from the app to ad networks and the App Store uses encrypted HTTPS connections. The app contains no encryption of its own beyond what the operating system provides.

16. International transfers

The advertising partners listed in section 7 operate globally, and the device data they receive may be processed in the United States or other countries outside your own. Each partner is responsible for applying lawful transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, as described in its own privacy policy.

17. Changes to this policy

If we change how Numbra handles data — for example, adding or removing an ad partner — we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
